June 22nd: We couldn't have wished for a finer summer's day in England's wonderful Lake District. Swallows zipped through the beautiful, warm air while we gazed at the vibrant hills around us, all yellows & greens. The nearby village square was an epicentre for all things sweet & I licked my lips at the colourful signs for the finest ice cream, gingerbread & raspberries. But I'm always a sucker for the sweet scent of raspberries – a predictable highlight of the unpredictable English summer. I felt obliged to buy numerous punnets, all of which were scoffed on our trip home as the fragrant bracken zipped by.

Our suppliers organise farmer field schools to train farmers in best farming practices, provide business support for cooperatives and farmers, purchase cocoa beans directly from cooperatives & actively contribute to improving the quality of life for farmers and their families.
